This app is run by Stephanie Catcher of the Catcher Team, a real estate salesperson registered in Ontario with RE/MAX Solid Gold Realty (II) Ltd., Brokerage, in Kitchener–Waterloo.

It's a private space for my clients — somewhere to keep track of your move, your home, and the paperwork that goes with it. This page explains, in plain language, exactly what it holds and who can see it.

What the app holds

Only what you type in, plus your email address. It depends on which part you use:

Part of the app	What it keeps
Signing in	Your email address. That's how the sign-in link reaches you — there's no password to remember or lose.
Buying	Your wish list, homes you'd like to see and what you thought of them, questions you've asked me, your progress through the steps, and anything you've noted.
Selling	What you love about your home, your prep checklists, and your progress through the sale.
Your home	Filter sizes, paint colours, bulb types, detector dates, your own notes, records of work done (including receipt photos and costs you enter), and when you last did each maintenance job.
Home value request	The address and details you send me when you ask what your home is worth.
Documents	Paperwork I upload for you, filed under the relevant home.
Events	Which events you've said you're coming to.

🔒 Your codes are private — even from me

Your front door code, garage code, alarm details and WiFi are stored separately from everything else, under a rule that refuses to hand them to my account. This isn't a promise that I won't peek — the system itself won't show me, and it wouldn't show anyone who got into my account either. Only your own sign-in can unlock them.

What the app does not hold

• No passwords — there aren't any.
• No credit card, banking or payment details.
• No SIN, ID numbers or documents of that kind.
• No location tracking, no advertising, no analytics, no tracking pixels.

Who can see it

You — everything of yours.
Me (Stephanie) — everything of yours except your codes and WiFi.
Other clients — nothing. Everyone's space is separate; no client can see another client's anything.

I don't sell your information, rent it, or hand it to anyone for marketing. I'd only ever disclose it if the law required me to, or if you asked me to.

Companies that help run the app

I'm one person, not a software company, so the app rests on a few trusted services. They only process information on my behalf:

Service	What it does
Supabase	Stores the database, your documents, and handles sign-in.
Vercel	Serves the app's pages to your phone or computer. Its logs record IP addresses.
Resend	Delivers the app's emails — sign-in links and maintenance reminders.
Google Fonts & jsDelivr	Supply the app's typefaces and code. Loading a page reveals your IP address to them, as with most websites.

Some of these are outside Canada, which means your information may be stored or handled outside the country and could, in principle, be accessed under the laws there.

Emails the app sends

• Sign-in links — only when you ask for one.
• Maintenance reminders — only if you've entered dates in Home care, only when something's actually due, and never more than once a week. Tell me to stop and I'll switch them off.

I also get an email when you add a home to your list, so I can get moving on booking it for you.

Passing information to a new owner

If you sell, I may put together a handover pack of useful home knowledge — paint colours, filter sizes, service history — for whoever buys it. Nothing is shared unless you review it and approve it yourself. You choose what goes in, and you can change your mind at any point before it's passed on. Your codes and WiFi are never included (and the new owner should change the locks and codes anyway — that's just good practice).

How long it's kept

I keep your information for as long as you're my client and for a reasonable period afterwards, so I can help with questions that come up years later — which, with houses, they do. Ask me to delete it and I will.

Separately, Ontario's real estate rules require my brokerage to retain certain transaction records for a set period. Those brokerage records are held under the brokerage's own policies, not by this app.

Keeping it safe

Your information travels encrypted, sits behind per-person rules so nobody can reach someone else's, and documents are only opened through private links that expire after an hour. Sign-in is by emailed link, so there's no password to be guessed or reused.

No system is perfectly secure, and I won't pretend otherwise. The most important thing you can do is keep your own email account secure — anyone who can read your email could request a sign-in link.

Your choices

Any time, just ask me and I'll sort it:

• See it — everything the app holds about you.
• Fix it — correct anything that's wrong.
• Delete it — your account and its contents.
• Turn off the reminders — while keeping the rest.
• Stop using it — with no effect at all on how I work for you.

Using this app is entirely optional. It's a convenience I offer, never a condition of working with me.

Not for children

This app is for my clients and isn't intended for anyone under 18.

Changes

If I change this page in a way that matters, I'll tell you rather than quietly swap it out.
